Mytek was established in New York City in 1992, at the location of Skyline Recording Studios, and has been building digital audio converters for recording industry until 2010 where Mytek debuted its first DSD USB hi-fi DAC. Mytek has been resident at Skyline Studio location until 1995. We have maintained very close relationships with over 50+ state of the art recording studios of 1990's Manhattan. Almost all of them bought the newly designed Private Q headphone system or Mytek digital converters front end for the Protools systems and mastering. There are now over 500 Private Q systems and over  10,000 channels of digital audio converters installed in recording studios throughout the U.S.A. 

Today Mytek continues supporting proaudio engineers, producers and artists with our best sounding digital audio converters and amplifiers and our legendary Private Q studio headphone monitoring system.
