Brooklyn DAC+, introduced in 2017 was the Mytek 3rd MQA/DSD award winning, Roon Tested DAC. Its combination of DAC/Preamp/Phono/HPA features and amazing sound quality made this the next Mytek hit product following the earlier popularity of Brooklyn DAC, the first 3rd party MQA DAC on the market.

Brooklyn Bridge II, (currently $/€4995) has the same DAC/Preamp circuit in the same compact chassis, but with addition of the  I5 Roon Core computer and linear power supply. Just the addition of the linear power supply results in approx 20% of subjective improvement to of sound quality. The new touch menu approach (including remote control via a smartphone/tablet) allows for superior integration of many modern features. In particular, integration of the Roon Core, as well as wifi, network, Bluetooth, and future connectivity like Airplay, and Ipad/smartphone control. BB II has also an improved sound quality due to the enhanced analog section powered by a large linear power supply. In addition, this approach allowed for easy, online, "computer-style" system software upgrade over the next few years of the life of the product.

1) Purchase the upgrade option here online or by contacting Mytek. You must be the original owner of Brooklyn Bridge (present a receipt that it was purchased from Mytek or Mytek authorized dealer). 

2) Receive Mytek email communication about shipping dates.

3) When you receive an RMA (return authorization) from Mytek, ship the Brooklyn DAC+ to Mytek (shipping at your expense) and Mytek will ship the new Brooklyn Bridge 2 to you at no charge.
